Andrew Johnson is a Chicago-based concept artist with 17 years of experience in video game development and illustration. He has created digital art for numerous shipped game titles across PC, console, mobile, VR, and AR platforms, catering to diverse audiences. Beyond games, Andrew has illustrated books, product labels, ad campaigns, and more.
With over 7 years as a college instructor, Andrew is passionate about teaching live concept art and video game development classes. He enjoys mentoring students of all ages to succeed in games and other creative industries.
Andrew is also skilled in reviewing game art portfolios for both novices and industry veterans. Having provided detailed feedback to hundreds of artists worldwide, he has even authored content on the subject.
