I'm Andrew Johnson, an artist, illustrator, and educator passionate about bringing vibrant, meaningful art into the world! I'm based in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA and I founded ArtUpWorkshop.com to share my love of art through unique creations, professional services, and transformative learning experiences. My mission is to inspire creativity, elevate brands, and empower aspiring artists to find their voice—all while delivering quality and authenticity.

At ArtUpWorkshop.com, we offer three ways to spark a creative journey, (subject to availability):

• Signed Art Prints: Our online store features limited-edition, signed prints of my original artwork, perfect for collectors and art lovers looking to add a unique piece to their space.

• Custom Illustration Services: I create bespoke branding materials, ad illustrations, and banners tailored to your business needs, helping you stand out in the digital world with eye-catching visuals.

• Educational Workshops: Through externships and classes, I teach illustration and design skills to aspiring artists of all ages! These programs are designed to ignite your creativity and artistic problem solving in a way that will appeal to studios and help you create more cohesive vision for projects with lots of moving parts.
  
  

What makes this site so special? With 17 of experience in illustration and a deep love for teaching, I blend artistic expertise with a personalized approach. Whether it's crafting a bold brand identity or guiding a student through their first sketches for a game concept, I'm committed to quality and connection! 

I've collaborated on projects with some huge brands during my storied career (see above!), Worked on over 20 published game titles, illustrated books (such as Alice in Verse), designed ad campaigns for businesses, and taught for 7 years at Columbia College Chicago.  I pour the passion of all of that experience into every print, project, and lesson.
